Izzy has been writing creatively since grade school, when writing assignments bored him to tears and he had to do something if he were to complete the institutional education forced upon him.  He survived those early years with his love of writing intact and undiminished, and proceeded to fill stacks of notebooks with countless short stories, poems, doodles, and other random scribbles of the not quite deranged.  An avid van lifer, Izzy can be found baristaing coffee in Seattle, consulting a tech startup in Austin, or proving his unmusicality with the clarinet on the side of some forsaken road somewhere in between, depending on the season.
